Having issues getting Renault to update my software for my 2020 ZE50 lookers at Chester have said its NOT due any but the last update says June 2022 - any ideas were locally I can have the sofware updated even if I have to pay
I am experiencing the same difficulties with a 2023 ZE50 Iconic. I have twice requested at car services by Sutton Park Motors at Perry Barr, that the Easy Link software be updated only to be told that the current software on the vehicle is up to date (version 283C30613R). Now, I know that this version of the software was present on a vehicle used in a promotional video made for the introduction of the ZE50 Iconic version in late 2022 (probably June 2022 as mentioned in this post). Incidentally, this video was sent to me by Renault so that I could follow instructions to update the maps in early 2024 (updated manually not automatically!!).
Generally, I find that the software in Renault Zoe's to be of poor and indifferent quality, decidedly unstable and it suffers from diminishing functionality following technical updates. I also have a ZE40 with R-Link software that is badly affected by this phenomenon; with every software update some feature has been removed from display. Could this be a deliberate policy by Renault?
Thanks for advice
