It's impossible to say, it depends on so many factors and we don't know the state of the battery. My 2016 Zoe will only charge up to 50 miles on a daily charge on a cold day in winter. Then you have to deduct heating from mileage and you will most likely get a warning that you are running out of charge. It might be fine in the summer.

My 2016 Zoe was battery leased until I bought the battery back last year. The batteries were covered as long as I was paying the lease which meant Renault would replace or renew the battery if it fell below a certain level (think 75%) and the range has been between 50 and 90 miles depending on the air temp outside. Hope that helps. I suggest you read the lease documents and test drive the car before you buy.

Hi, sorry to hear you are having probs with air conditioning and range. I own a 2016 Zoe and its range has never been more than 90 miles (in summer) currently doing 70. The only thing I can suggest - maybe the battery has justdeteriorated with age, (200 miles seems an amazingly good range. I have had mine checked regularly and been told it is performing well, battery was being rented and not coming anywhere near the replacement level) Re air conditioning - I didn't know there was a connection between AC and range. I have just had mine "de-gassed" with a mobile air conditioning unit (based in Nantwich, cheaper than the local garage) -mine was running on empty! I was getting the same condensation problems you had and no heat from heater! Hopefully all better now. / I don't keep my Zoe in garage in summer as I use that for gardening etc.... in winter my range is only 50 or so (I only use the as a run-about). Hope you get the range/AC resolved!

I would take it to any good repair garage for a quote. (Ask if they do electric car repairs). I took mine to one for service this year instead of the dealer. They cost approx half the dealers price.

All I can think of is that there are more people doing the same thing so demand has surged but not supply?

Sorry I should have said a spare "card key" - I have two with my 2016 Zoe so would have thought you would get 2 card with a newer model. I got a new SD card from Renault central helpline when I needed updated maps, so might be worth asking...

Does the spare SD card also not work (if you have one) ?

Could they say what likely caused it?

The battery just doesn't like cold weather! Not sure why. I try to keep the car warmer by covering/putting in garage/warming on the prep cycle but have to wait til May/June to get the best charge back!

Hi the dealer can check the battery capacity without you taking the car in they have done this remotely for me several times it's done by satellite they said.

Take it out and keep trying (mine does this sometimes)

Hi Tim Sorry to hear that. Every year I check with the insurers that the battery is included, a couple of them have seemed surprised and said that the battery is included as standard, so is it worth double-checking with your insurers ?

For my electrical "red warning" fault, I had to pay for diagnostics after RAC could not repair it at the roadside. Then, Renault paid for the actual repair to the inverter as the fault was associated with a previous recall. although not for my car. I think if yours turns out to a fault with the battery itself, you may be covered by the lease.

Have you tried ringing Renault Zoe Assistance, you are covered under your battery lease for this type of thing. They sent RAC out to me and took me to nearest dealer ring 08001697985
