In ZOE Z.E.50/E-Tech 2019-Present
Using a space saver 16”. I had to use the 16” space saver. Within 70 yds the car throws up fault lights ( ABS, Traction Control,Braking etc) it also goes into limp mode. RAC came next day as I made it home and wasn’t in any danger(yep crap Renault Assist). By then my brother got my wheel back repaired and fitted it. RAC man said just go around the block and the faults will go away without him doing anything. Yes they did. Lesson learned!

In General ZOE Discussion
I purchased my Zoe technic 8 weeks ago with 435 miles on the clock. Nov 30 2022 so 72 reg. having used it fine around town 240/250 on a full charge I had to go somewhere where I had to travel at 60/70 mph. The mileage with the air con on dropped rapidly. I backed off and got home with 20% 46 miles. I asked my Renault dealer today as it now only as 1000 miles on it. What is it worth to go back to ICE. A£7000 drop for 2 months. Jaw on the floor! I see there is a item on on which.com (http://which.com)about the ratings of 1-10 of the rapid depreciation of current electric cars (like mine) in their first year. Zoe is number 2 and they estimate my 2022-72 Techno Zoe is as the dealers told me down to £11000 trade in with 1000 miles on it and still only 10 months old. Sold it on Carwow £12200 (a great loss), it is now for sale 8 miles from me £17498 at Car Supermaket. So you could say it is a good buy for 10 months old compared to £30000 new. Just remember it's only worth £11000 to a Renault dealership. Who are selling the same for £19000. The excuse is you can get a brand new one with no wait and so they (when they have it off you) say it devalues your car. Doesn't seem to devalue their retail of it. I traded in a 2023-23 MG ZS EXCLUSIVE for my Zoe. 1000 miles on it and only lost £2480 for 3 months on that. ICE cars are not as easy to get hold of as an EV hence they don't rapidly depreciate at the same rate. Yes EV cost mpg is a lot less, but factor in the depriciation and ICE wins hands down. Gone back to a MG ZS EXCLUSIVE 2023-73. Once bitten twice shy!
