I would be unhappy with an efficiency of only 3.3mpKWh. I generally get 4.8 in summer but this has fallen recently to 4.1 in the autumn weather (lights on, windscreen washers, heating). I expect it to average 3.8 through the winter. I have a 2 year old Riviera

I have not had an update to the infotainment system or mapping since last November in my 2021 Zoe Riviera. I have automatic updates checked on the system but it just won't update. Tried a manual update using usb and the Connect Toolbox. You have two ways or connecting via Toolbox - using VIN number or inserting a blank usb in the car and then after it registers taking back to the computer with the vehicle ID. Neither worked for me (the VIN option just said my car was too old for this option!). Contacted Renault assistance and spoke to a helpful agent who took me through some checks and a soft reboot of the systyem before declaring he would need to refer to more technical support. He promised me an email by close of play yesterday so I could send screenshots of the key screens but failed to do so. Will follow up today if I do not hear.

I've had my Zoe Riviera for two years and just sailed through its second service. The only issue was a tyre pressure warning light which showed after I had been rather too enthusiastic pressure washing the wheels. Once they dried out problem went away. No other faults.

Also, Stewart, B mode may not necessarily be the most economical - see EV Nick's video which explains the issue.

I think it uses your current mileage per kWh figure to calculate the range. So, if you have been hammering it on the motorway or driving with four adults and luggage on board, your range at 100% will be significantly lower. Suggest you reset the trip meter which will also reset the efficiency monitor and then a more moderate driving style should see the range shoot up.

Thanks to EV Nick I have discovered the quick release function for the charging cable.

I run at 40 front 35 rear because I was getting wear on the outside of the front tyres and to hopefully improve efficiency. Only negative is that on occasions I can feel the extra hardness in the ride.

Interestingly when I tried to book my Zoe for some warranty work (the tyre pressure sensor was playing up) into the main dealer who does my annual service I was told they didn't have a mechanic who was electrically trained! I was advised to take it to the nearest dealer who did have such a mechanic - some 35 miles away! This seems to back up the point that there is usually very little to do technically and could be done by anyone. I am obliged to use a Renault dealer though to preserve the warranty and to comply with my PCP contract. Having said that I only pay £4.95 per month to cover the service cost which is excellent value I feel.
