We had a 2018 Renault ZOE ZE40 in the rare metallic Mars Red. It was our only car for 4 months and did a fantastic job. Like a Tardis, compact on the outside but roomy on inside & amazing Boot space. The range on the ZE40 is probably the minimum that is convenient for every day use so that you are not worried about range & continually putting it on charge.

Summer Urban 175 miles, Summer 65 mph Motorway 140 miles, Winter Urban 125 miles. For the range available & it's purchase cost it is probably the best EV you can buy. A current warranty is a great idea as things can go wrong & get expensive.
