Megane E-Tech Electric: UK Specification & Pricing

The UK specification for the All-New Renault Megane E-Tech Electric has been revealed.
There are three trim levels at launch: Equilibre, Techno and the Launch Edition.
Each model benefits from a 60kWh battery and DC rapid charging up to 130kW as standard.
Pricing starts from £35,995 on the road

The UK specification for the All-New Renault Megane E-Tech Electric has now been revealed. The three generously equipped models all feature a 60kWh battery and DC rapid charging up to 130kW as standard which can deliver up to 186 miles of driving range in just 30 minutes.

All models also come with a 12.3-inch driver information display and a 9-inch multimedia touchscreen display with integrated Google services on selected models.

Equilibre - From £35,995

The Equilibre features 19-inch Oston alloy wheels, full LED headlights, heated front seats and steering wheel, rearview camera, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity as well as connected services including over-the-air software updates.

Techno - From £38,495

Techno models add a host of driver assistance features such as lane centring, blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert. 20-inch Soren alloy wheels are also added along with adaptive LED headlights. The interior upholstery is made up of recycled materials and has features such as wireless smartphone charging and Google Assistant functionality.

Launch Edition - From £39,995

The highest specification available is the Launch Edition which stands out with its bold 20-inch Enos alloy wheels and gold F1 inspired blade. The interior also benefits from upgrades including a 9-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, smart view mirror and Around View 3D camera system for easier manoeuvring at slow speeds.

Launch Edition models are limited to 300 units and are exclusive to pre-order customers.

From asking questions at the launch preview it would appear that the UK launch edition model is disappointingly substantially down graded from the LHD vehicle displayed at the preview, and much raved about throughout Europe.

it appears to have lost :-

No Full leather interior

No electrically adjustable seats

No 12" display but replaced with base model 9" display

No heat pump .

I was one of the first to pre order the top spec launch edition and was really looking forward to buying this car now I'mnnot so sure , I was told it was a "Price point" issue -Really!, smacks of bash the Brits for Brexit to me.

I'll wait for the test drive.
