Renault 5 Electric at St. Pancras Station This Summer

St Pancras International to Host Anglo-French Cultural Celebration Featuring New Renault 5 E-Tech Electric

This summer, St Pancras International will celebrate historic Anglo-French rivalries in a unique cultural display, offering visitors the chance to explore the much-anticipated new Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric vehicle.

From Monday, July 22, to Sunday, August 11, a section of a Parisian cobbled street will be recreated on the main concourse of the iconic London station. The new Renault 5 E-Tech, showcasing a Union Jack on its roof, will be parked next to a British telephone box revamped with a Renault theme.

“It’s not easy to be a British icon. If you’re French,” the exhibit will humorously remind passers-by, inviting them to experience the contemporary design and innovative technology of the new Renault 5. Select visitors will even have the chance to take home a limited-edition scale model of the car, featuring the same patriotic livery.

David Isherwood, Marketing Director at Renault UK, commented: “The original Renault 5 charmed the nation with its sense of fun and innovative style. Now, the Renault 5 is back, reinvented to bring some excitement to the world of compact electric vehicles. This event offers many people their first opportunity to see the new Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric before its official UK launch next year, and to appreciate its heart-winning design and cutting-edge technology.”

The Renault 5 E-Tech 100% electric stays true to the 2021 concept car, blending nostalgia with modernity. It features the all-electric AmpR small car platform, agile handling, and innovative technology. With a driving range of up to 248 miles on a single charge (pending WLTP certification), the Renault 5 E-Tech is expected to arrive in the UK in Q1 2025.
