Thought I ought to warn other Renault owners about a possible problem with their service arrangements. When I purchased my Zoe in October last year I also agreed to pay for servicing as part of the contract. I was contacted well over a month before the first service was due and urged to book a service as the local dealership might be busy. My local dealer is now John Banks, Ipswich so the problem might be theirs. Today less than 24 hours before my service is due they rang me to say they do not do servicing at the time I was booked for! Obviously a communication problem between Renault UK and their dealership? Having made arrangements for the day you can imagine I am more than a little upset. Especially as my last 4 cars have been Toyota with a local dealership friendly and helpful. Free loan car or pick-up and fully valeted after service. This dealership want £25 for loan car/pick-up? Suppose there is value in loyalty except Toyota did not have a fully electric car at the time!
