Renault is set to unveil the world premiere of the Renault 5 E-Tech electric at the Geneva International Motor Show on February 26. Featuring a 52kWh battery, the electric vehicle boasts a driving range of up to 248 miles (WLTP).
Starting December 1, a teaser campaign aimed at the general public will gradually unveil select design details of the Renault 5 E-Tech electric. Prior to the official reveal, devoted Renault 5 fans and enthusiasts can participate in the R5 R Pass, an exclusive priority program accessible in seven European countries. This membership enables individuals to place early orders and secure a spot among the first to receive their new cars.
From December 1, Renault is initiating an innovative teaser campaign aimed at the general public, crafted in collaboration with Publicis Conseil. What sets this campaign apart is not just its unique form but also its extensive reach, launching three months ahead of the official reveal.
Under the theme "R5VOLUTION IS BACK," the campaign pays homage to the groundbreaking R5 launched in 1972 amid social upheaval. In 2024, Renault is spearheading a new revolution, focusing on energy transition, local production, and energy efficiency. The campaign spans across Europe, offering a glimpse of the forthcoming vehicle's exterior design, including the iconic 5 logo available in yellow, blue, and green.
The campaign incorporates a QR code linked to renault.fr/R5, where enthusiasts can explore the future vehicle through keywords like R5DESIGNED, R5NERGISED, R5DIGITALISED, R5SOURCEFUL, R5LOCALISED, and R5VOLUTION IS BACK. The site also introduces the exclusive R5 R Pass, enabling early orders and priority delivery for the Renault 5 E-Tech electric.
On November 30, Renault introduced the R5 R Pass program, granting holders the privilege to order the new electric vehicle 10 days before the general public. Orders placed during this period ensure early 2025 delivery in the UK, with the ElectriCity plant in Douai, France, prioritizing production. R5 R Pass holders receive a scale model after the reveal and exclusive access to Renault 5 content and events.
Priced at £150, the R5 R Pass is available at www.renault.fr/R5 and in seven participating countries. Arnaud Belloni, Global Chief Marketing Officer for Renault, emphasizes the unconventional approach to the iconic Renault 5 comeback, heralding its status as a legend in French automotive history.

Built on the new AmpR Small platform, it features a multi-link rear suspension for exceptional stability and roadholding.
